4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.(1 John 3:4)

6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean,

And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;

And all of us wither like a leaf,

And our wrongdoings, like the wind, take us away.(Isaiah 64:6)

20 because by the works *of the Law *none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for *through the Law comes*knowledge of sin.(Romans 3:20)

15 What then? Are we to sin because we are not under *the Law but under grace? *Far from it!(Romans 6:15)

14 For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold *into bondage to sin. 15 For I do not understand what I am doing; for I am not practicing what I want to do, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 However, if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, that the Law is good. 17 But now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.(Romans 7:14-17)

6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;(1 John 1:6)
