7 "*Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. [Luke 11:9-13]

22 And whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive."

24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.

13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name [*as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. [Ex 3:14] 14 If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.

40 But Peter sent them all out [of the room] and knelt down and prayed; then turning to the body he said, "Tabitha, arise!" And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

29 He replied to them, "This kind [of unclean spirit] cannot come out by anything but prayer [to the Father]."

14 Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with *oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,

And He brought them out of their distresses.

29 He hushed the storm to a gentle whisper,

So that the waves of the sea were still. [Ps 65:7; 89:9; Matt 8:26]

30 Then they were glad because of the calm,

And He guided them to their desired haven (harbor).

6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. [John 14:27]

18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all *God’s people.
