15 *And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, *choose this day whom you will serve, whether *the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or *the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. *But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

22 Then Joshua said to the people, "You are witnesses against yourselves that *you have chosen the Lord, to serve him." And they said, "We are witnesses."

30 "Therefore *I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. *Repent and turn from all your transgressions, *lest iniquity be your ruin.*31 *Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and *make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! *Why will you die, O house of Israel? 32 *For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; *so turn, and live."

15 "‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. *Would that you were either cold or hot!16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

6 *He will render to each one according to his works: 7 to those who *by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 but for those who are self-seeking* and *do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.

51 *"You stiff-necked people, *uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. *As your fathers did, so do you.

35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has *a great reward. 36 For *you have need of endurance, so that *when you have done the will of God you may *receive what is promised. 37 For,

*"Yet a little while,

and *the coming one will come and will not delay;

38 *but my righteous one shall live by faith,

and if he shrinks back,

my soul has no pleasure in him."

39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

33 *The lot is cast into the lap,

but its every decision is *from the Lord.

21 *Many are the plans in the mind of a man,

but *it is the purpose of the Lord*that will stand.

3 *Commit your work to the Lord,

and your plans will be established.

7 But the Lord God helps me;

therefore I have not been disgraced;

*therefore I have set my face like a flint,

and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

17 *If anyone’s will is to do God’s*will, *he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I *am speaking on my own authority.

38 *And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 39 *I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, *for their own good and the good of their children after them.

38 And Peter said to them, *"Repent and *be baptized every one of you *in the name of Jesus Christ *for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive *the gift of the Holy Spirit.

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. *Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 *Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. *Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and *purify your hearts, *you double-minded.
