But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."(Joshua 24:15)
So Joshua said to the people, "You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen for yourselves the Lord, to serve Him." And they said, "We are witnesses."(Joshua 24:22)
‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth.(Revelation 3:15,16)
Toda escolha produz consequências morais e espirituais
"Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, each according to his conduct," declares the Lord God. "Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you. Hurl away from you all your offenses which you have committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why should you die, house of Israel? For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies," declares the Lord God. "Therefore, repent and live!"(Ezekiel 18:30-32)
who will repay each person according to his deeds: to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life; but to those who are self-serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.(Romans 2:6-8)
"You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did.(Acts 7:51)
Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
For yet in a very little while,
He who is coming will come, and will not delay.
But My righteous one will live by faith;
And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.
But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith for the safekeeping of the soul.(Hebrews 10:35-39)
Commit your works to the Lord,
And your plans will be established.(Proverbs 16:3)
The lot is cast into the lap,
But its every decision is from the Lord.(Proverbs 16:33)
Many plans are in a person’s heart,
But the advice of the Lord will stand.(Proverbs 19:21)
For the Lord God helps Me,
Therefore, I am not disgraced;
Therefore, I have made My face like flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed.(Isaiah 50:7)
If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is of God, or I am speaking from Myself.(John 7:17)
They shall be My people, and I will be their God; and I will give them one heart and one way, so that they will fear Me always, for their own good and for the good of their children after them.(Jeremiah 32:38,39)
Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.(Acts 2:38)
Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.(James 4:7,8)
