Poder de decisão
Deus nos deu o poder de escolher. A Bíblia mostra que nossas decisões têm consequências eternas e nos chama a escolher sabiamente — a vida, a fé e o caminho de Deus.
A responsabilidade de escolher
Escolhei hoje a quem servireis. Cada decisão molda nosso destino, e Deus nos convida a escolher o caminho da vida e da obediência.
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: O that thou wert cold or hot!16 So because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot; I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Decisões e consequências
Deus retribuirá a cada um segundo as suas obras. As Escrituras nos alertam que a mornidão espiritual e a resistência ao Espírito têm consequências sérias.
6 Who will render to every one according to his works: To them that by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory,7 and honour, and immortality, eternal life.8 But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, shall be indignation and wrath,
51 as your fathers, so do ye.
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.37 For yet a little while, and he that cometh will come and will not tarry.38 Now the just shall live by faith; but if he draw back, my soul hath no pleasure in him.39 But we are not of them who draw back to perdition, but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Decisão e fé
Decida com fé, entregue seus planos ao Senhor e aja com determinação. Deus guia os passos de quem se achega a Ele de coração.
17 If any man be willing to do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
38 And Peter said, Repent, and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
7 Submit yourselves, therefore, to God: resist the devil, and he will flee from you.8 Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you: cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
