O poder de Deus é incomparável e infinito. Ele criou o universo pela palavra, sustenta todas as coisas e manifesta sua onipotência em cada geração.
A onipotência do Criador
Deus fez os céus e a terra pelo seu grande poder. Nada é impossível para Ele, e sua força está além de toda compreensão humana.
It was God who made the earth by his power. He created the world by his wisdom and by his understanding he put the heavens in place.
Jesus looked at them and said, "From a human point of view it’s impossible, but all things are possible with God."
This is just a little of all he does—what we hear of him is hardly a whisper, so who can understand his thunderous power?"
God is so wise and so powerful that no one could challenge him and win.
Poder sobre tudo
O Senhor reina sobre as nações, sustenta os oprimidos e manifesta seu poder tanto no julgamento quanto na redenção.
He rules forever through his power. He keeps an eye on the nations, watching to make sure no rebels rise up in opposition. Selah.
Listen to the groans of the prisoners; with your great power save those condemned to die.
God has already made it clear—I have heard it many times—power belongs to you, God.
He did this with his strong hand and outstretched arm. For his trustworthy love lasts forever.
Poder para o seu povo
Deus fortalece os fracos e ressuscita os mortos. Seu poder opera em nós para que experimentemos vitória e transformação.
By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us up the same way.
Even though he was crucified in weakness, now he lives through the power of God. We too are weak in him, but you will see that we live with him through the power of God.
We speak truthfully, living in the power of God. Our weapons consist of what is true and right; we attack with our right hand and we defend with our left.
Lastly, stay strong in the Lord, and in his mighty power.
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
I create light, and I make darkness, I bring peace and I bring about disaster. I am the Lord and I do all this.
The Lord your God is among you as a mighty warrior who saves. He will be so happy with you. He will renew his love for you. He will celebrate over you with loud singing.
However, if I am driving out demons by the power of God, then this proves God’s kingdom has arrived. It’s right here among you!
