8 But you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to [the] end of the earth.

7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

19 Behold, I give to you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you.

12 For the word of God [is] living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to [the] dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

20 For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.

17 And miraculous] signs will follow to those believing these things: in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak new tongues;18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on [the] sick, and they will be well.

12 Truly, truly, I say to you, He who believes on Me, the works that I do he shall do also, and greater [works] than these he shall do, because I go to My Father.

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in [the] Lord and in the power of His might.

11 being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness,

7 Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

39 And He awakened and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.40 And He said to them, Why are you so fearful? How [is it] that you have no faith?41 And they feared exceedingly and said to one another, What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?
