8 But ye shall receive power, the Holy Ghost being come upon you, and shall be witnesses to me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.

7 For God hath not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and sobriety.

19 Behold I give ydu power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy,

12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder both of the soul and spirit, both of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

20 For the kingdom of God is not in speech, but in power.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name they shall cast out devils:18 they shall speak with new tongues: They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

12 Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works which I do, shall he do also; and greater than these shall he do, because I go to my Father.

13 I can do all things through Christ strengthening me.

10 Finally, brethren, be strong through the Lord, and through the power of his might.

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness:

7 Submit yourselves, therefore, to God: resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

39 And he arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace; be still. And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.40 And he said to them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it, that ye have not faith?41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
