Pride [goes] before destruction, and an arrogant (proud; lifted up) spirit before a fall.(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:18)
Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished.(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:5)
There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:25)
The fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] mouth, do I hate.(Mishlei - Proverbs 8:13)
The LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.(Mishlei - Proverbs 15:25)
[When] pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [is] wisdom.(Mishlei - Proverbs 11:2)
Before destruction the heart of man is arrogant (proud; lifted up), and before honour [is] humility.(Mishlei - Proverbs 18:12)
A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.(Mishlei - Proverbs 29:23)
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised [is] wisdom.(Mishlei - Proverbs 13:10)
For what reason let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.(1 Corinthians 10:12)
And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others), an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.(Mark 7:20-23)
For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.(1 John 2:16)
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God-The Father, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;(1 Timothy 6:17)
And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing.(1 Corinthians 13:3)
And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God-The Father chosen, [yes], and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are:
That no flesh should glory in his presence.(1 Corinthians 1:28,29)
But he that glories, let him glory in the Lord - Kurios.
For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord - Kurios commendeth.(2 Corinthians 10:17,18)
But the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said unto Sh’mu’el [His name is El], Look not on his Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor), or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) sees] not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) looks on the heart.(1 Samuel 16:7)
Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let [not] arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) [is] a God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.(1 Samuel 2:3)
Now I N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] praise and extol (to lift up; to praise; to esteem) and honour the King of heaven, all whose works [are] truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.(Daniel 4:37)
And the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] answered and said, Tell [him], Let not him that put on [his harness] boast himself as he that puts it off.(1 Kings 20:11)
For all those [things] has my hand made, and all those [things] have been, says the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.(Isaiah 66:2)
[Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.(Romans 12:16)
But he gives more grace. For what reason he says, God-The Father resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.(Jacob 4:6)
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord - Kurios, and he shall lift you up.(Jacob 4:10)
Likewise, you2f younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yes, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God-The Father resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God-The Father, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.(1 Peter 5:5-7)
For whosoever exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.(Luke 14:11)
[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation]:(Philippians 2:3-5)
Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.(Jacob 1:9,10)
By humility [and] the fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [are] riches, and honour, and life.(Mishlei - Proverbs 22:4)
But the fruit of the Spirit [Ruach] is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, self-control: against such there is no law.(Galatians 5:22,23)
