A Palavra de Deus permanece para sempre. As Escrituras foram preservadas por Deus ao longo dos milênios para instrução, consolação e guia de todas as gerações.
A Palavra eterna
Céus e terra passarão, mas as palavras de Deus jamais passarão. Sua Palavra é eterna, infalível e imutável — a verdade que sustenta tudo.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
18 For verily I say to you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all things be effected.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass: The grass is withered, and the flower thereof is fallen off;25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which is preached to you by the gospel.

A inspiração divina
Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. Homens santos falaram da parte do Senhor, e a Palavra escrita é a expressão fiel da vontade divina.
20 Knowing this before that no scripture prophecy is of any private interpretation.21 For prophecy never came by the will of man, but the holy men of God spake being moved by the Holy Ghost.
1 God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake of old to the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son;2 Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and sustaining all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high,
14 And the Word was made flesh, and tabernacled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.
A Palavra como guia e tesouro
A Palavra de Deus é lâmpada para os pés, espada do Espírito e tesouro para o coração. Guardá-la e meditá-la nos protege do pecado.
8 (that is, to bring Christ again from the dead) But what saith he? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith which we preach:
17 Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily; their voice is gone into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime, were written for our instruction, that we, through patience and consolation of the scriptures, may have hope.
19 that ye may be filled with all the fulness of God.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,4 Who willeth all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
