A profecia é a voz de Deus revelada ao seu povo. Através dos profetas, Deus comunicou seus planos, advertiu contra o pecado e anunciou a vinda do Messias.

A profecia na Bíblia não é invenção humana, mas homens santos de Deus falaram movidos pelo Espírito Santo, revelando os mistérios divinos.
for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
Certainly the Lord God does nothing
Unless He reveals His secret plan
To His servants the prophets.

Profecias messiânicas cumpridas
As profecias do Antigo Testamento sobre o Messias se cumpriram em Jesus. Seu nascimento, ministério e sacrifício foram anunciados séculos antes.
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.
Now all this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled: "Behold, the virgin willconceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name HimImmanuel," which translated means, "God with us."

Testing the Spirits
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
