For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.(2 Peter 1:21)

Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing,

unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.(Amos 3:7)

So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God, being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;(Ephesians 2:19,20)

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they spoke with other languages and prophesied.(Acts 19:5,6)

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.(Isaiah 7:14)

Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child,

and shall give birth to a son.

They shall call his name Immanuel,"

which is, being interpreted, "God with us."(Matthew 1:22,23)

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!

Shout, daughter of Jerusalem!

Behold, your King comes to you!

He is righteous, and having salvation;

lowly, and riding on a donkey,

even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.(Zechariah 9:9)

But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,(Romans 3:21,22)

Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.(1 John 4:1)

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. (Matthew 7:15)

If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.(1 Corinthians 13:2)
