14 "And now *I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that *not one word has failed of all the good things* that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.

9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, *the faithful God *who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

24 *He who calls you is faithful; *he will surely do it.

23 *Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for *he who promised is faithful.

4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become *partakers of the divine nature, *having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

10 fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, I will help you,

I will uphold you with *my righteous right hand.

2 *When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;

*when you walk through fire *you shall not be burned,

and the flame shall not consume you.

31 but *they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings *like eagles;

they shall run and not be weary;

they shall walk and not faint.

11 *For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare* and not for evil, *to give you a future and a hope.

16 "For *God so loved *the world,**that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not *perish but have eternal life.

25 Jesus said to her, *"I am the resurrection and *the life.*Whoever believes in me, *though he die, *yet shall he live,26 and everyone who lives and believes in me *shall never die. Do you believe this?"

20 Behold, I stand at the door and *knock. *If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, *I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

5 *The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never *blot his name out of *the book of life. *I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

15 Therefore he is *the mediator of a new covenant, so that *those who are called may *receive the promised eternal inheritance, *since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.*

2 Beloved, we are *God’s children *now, and what we will be *has not yet appeared; but we know that *when he appears**we shall be like him, because *we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who *thus hopes in him *purifies himself as he is pure.

11 *I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth."

13 I have set *my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

6 But as it is, Christ* has obtained a ministry that is *as much more excellent than the old as *the covenant *he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

10 And *after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, *who has called you to his *eternal glory in Christ, will himself *restore, *confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

9 *The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise *as some count slowness, but *is patient toward you,**not wishing that any should perish, but *that all should reach repentance.

1 Since we have these promises, beloved, *let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body* and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

22 But the Scripture *imprisoned everything under sin, so that *the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given *to those who believe.

7 *"Ask, *and it will be given to you; *seek, and you will find; *knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 for while *bodily training is of some value, godliness *is of value in every way, as *it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
