1 He who is dwelling || In the secret place of the Most High, || Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty, 2 He is saying of YHWH, "My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,"

4 He covers you over with His pinion, || And under His wings you trust, || His truth [is] a shield and buckler.

7 One thousand fall at your side, || And a myriad at your right hand, || [But] it does not come near to you.

9 (For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), || You made the Most High your habitation. 10 Evil does not happen to you, || And a plague does not come near your tent,

1 BY DAVID. YHWH [is] my light and my salvation, || Whom do I fear? YHWH [is] the strength of my life, || Of whom am I afraid?

2 He alone [is] my rock, and my salvation, || My tower, I am not much moved.

9 And YHWH is a tower for the bruised, || A tower for times of adversity.

3 And You, O YHWH, [are] a shield for me, || My glory, and lifter up of my head.

Many are rising up against me. 2 Many are saying of my soul, "There is no salvation for him in God." Selah. 3 And You, O YHWH, [are] a shield for me, || My glory, and lifter up of my head. 4 My voice [is] to YHWH: I call and He answers me from His holy hill, Selah. 5 I have lain down, and I sleep, || I have awoken, for YHWH sustains me. 6 I am not afraid of myriads of people, || That they have set against me all around.

30 God—perfect [is] His way, || The saying of YHWH is tried, || He [is] a shield to all those trusting in Him.

35 And You give to me the shield of Your salvation, || And Your right hand supports me, || And Your lowliness makes me great. 36 You enlarge my step under me, || And my ankles have not slipped.

1 BY DAVID. Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock, || Who is teaching My hands for war, || My fingers for battle. 2 My kind one, and my bulwark, || My tower, and my deliverer, || My shield, and in whom I have trusted, || Who is subduing my people under me!

11 And all trusting in You rejoice, || They sing for all time, and You cover them over, || And those loving Your Name exult in You. 12 For You bless the righteous, O YHWH, || Surrounding him with favor as a buckler!

6 I called You, for You answer me, || O God, incline Your ear to me, hear my speech. 7 Separate Your kindness wonderfully, O Savior of the confiding, || By Your right hand, from withstanders. 8 Keep me as the apple, the daughter of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings, 9 From the face of the wicked who spoiled me, || [From] my enemies in soul who go around against me.

7 For the king is trusting in YHWH, || And in the kindness of the Most High he is not moved. 8 Your hand comes to all Your enemies, || Your right hand finds Your haters. 9 You make them as a furnace of fire, || At the time of Your presence. YHWH swallows them in His anger, || And fire devours them.

7 You [are] a hiding place for me, || You keep me from distress, || Surround me [with] songs of deliverance. Selah.

10 Young lions have lacked and been hungry, || And those seeking YHWH do not lack any good,

3 Trust in YHWH, and do good, || Dwell [in] the land, and enjoy faithfulness,

25 I have been young, || I have also become old, || And I have not seen the righteous forsaken, || And his seed seeking bread.

19 and my God will supply all your need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus;

13 I have strength for all things, in Christ’s strengthening me;

33 but seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these will be added to you.

8 therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows those things that you have need of before your asking Him;

7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you; 8 for everyone who is asking receives, and he who is seeking finds, and to him who is knocking it will be opened.

11 If, therefore, you being evil, have known to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who [is] in the heavens give good things to those asking Him?

7 A messenger of YHWH is encamping, || Around those who fear Him, || And He arms them.

22 YHWH redeems the soul of His servants, || And none trusting in Him are desolate!

I lift up my eyes to the hills, || From where does my help come? 2 My help [is] from YHWH, || Maker of the heavens and earth, 3 He does not permit your foot to be moved, || He who is preserving you does not slumber. 4 Behold, He does not slumber, nor sleep, || He who is preserving Israel. 5 YHWH [is] He who is preserving you, || YHWH [is] your shade on your right hand, 6 By day the sun does not strike you, || Nor the moon by night. 7 YHWH preserves you from all evil, || He preserves your soul. 8 YHWH preserves your going out and your coming in, || From now on—even for all time!

20 Keep my soul, and deliver me, || Do not let me be ashamed, for I trusted in You. 21 Integrity and uprightness keep me, || For I have waited [on] You.

17 A false thing [is] the horse for safety, || And he does not deliver || By the abundance of his strength. 18 Behold, the eye of YHWH [is] to those fearing Him, || To those waiting for His kindness, 19 To deliver their soul from death, || And to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul has waited for YHWH, || He [is] our help and our shield,

8 Better to take refuge in YHWH, || Than to trust in man,

9 Whoever is walking in integrity walks confidently, || And whoever is perverting his ways is known.

6 For YHWH gives wisdom, || Knowledge and understanding from His mouth. 7 Even to lay up substance for the upright, || A shield for those walking uprightly. 8 To keep the paths of judgment, || And He preserves the way of His saints.

12 The prudent has seen the evil, he is hidden, || The simple have passed on, they are punished.

31 A horse is prepared for a day of battle, || And the deliverance [is] of YHWH!

23 Above every charge keep your heart, || For out of it [are] the outgoings of life.

6 be strong and courageous, do not fear, nor be terrified because of them, for your God YHWH [is] He who is going with you; He does not fail you nor forsake you."

27 The eternal God [is] a habitation, || And beneath [are] continuous arms. And He casts out the enemy from your presence and says, Destroy!

12 Of Benjamin he said: The beloved of YHWH dwells confidently by Him, || Covering him over every day; Indeed, he dwells between His shoulders.

17 No weapon formed against you prospers, || And every tongue rising against you, || You condemn in judgment. This [is] the inheritance of the servants of YHWH, || And their righteousness from Me," a declaration of YHWH!

3 You keep [him] in peace [whose] imagination [is] stayed—peace! For he is confident in You.

4 Even to old age, I [am] He, and to grey hairs I carry, || I made, and I bear, indeed, I carry and deliver.

5 As birds flying, so does YHWH of Hosts || Cover over Jerusalem, covering and delivering, || Passing over, and causing to escape."

17 Seek judgment, make the oppressed blessed, || Judge the fatherless, strive [for] the widow.

19 If you are willing, and have listened, || The good of the land you consume, 20 And if you refuse, and have rebelled, || You are consumed [by] the sword," || For the mouth of YHWH has spoken.

14 YHWH fights for you, and you keep silent."

7 Good [is] YHWH for a strong place in a day of distress. And He knows those trusting in Him.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And one of them will not fall on the ground without your Father; 30 and of you—even the hairs of the head are all numbered; 31 therefore, do not be afraid, you are better than many sparrows.

22 and all—as much as you may ask in the prayer, believing, you will receive."

17 and you will be hated by all because of My Name— 18 and a hair out of your head will not perish; 19 in your patience possess your souls.

35 And He said to them, "When I sent you without bag, and leather pouch, and sandals, did you lack anything?" And they said, "Nothing."

31 What, then, will we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?

6 so that we boldly say, "The LORD [is] to me a helper, and I will not fear what man will do to me."

7 Be subject, then, to God; stand up against the Devil, and he will flee from you;

6 so, then, we may not sleep as also the others, but watch and be sober,

3 but faithful is the LORD who will establish you, and will guard [you] from the evil [one];

22 and whatever we may ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commands, and we do the things pleasing before Him,

14 And this is the boldness that we have toward Him, that if we may ask anything according to His will, He hears us, 15 and if we have known that He hears us, whatever we may ask, we have known that we have the requests that we have requested from Him.

18 We have known that everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, but He who was begotten of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him;

11 and I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your Name, whom You have given to Me, that they may be one as We [are one]; 12 when I was with them in the world, I was keeping them in Your Name; I guarded those whom You have given to Me, and none of them were destroyed, except the son of the destruction, that the Writing may be fulfilled.

15 I do not ask that You may take them out of the world, but that You may keep them out of the evil.

32 For who is God except YHWH? And who [is the] Rock except our God?

29 and now, begin and bless the house of Your servant, to be before You for all time, for You, Lord YHWH, have spoken, and by Your blessing the house of Your servant is blessed for all time."

6 and David puts garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and Aram is for a servant to David, carrying a present; and YHWH saves David wherever he has gone;

8 and I am with you wherever you have walked, and I cut off all your enemies from your presence, and have made a name for you like the name of the great ones who [are] in the earth.

18 And you have done My statutes, and you keep My judgments, and have done them, and you have dwelt on the land confidently,

11 And I have established My covenant with you, and all flesh is not cut off anymore by waters of a flood, and there is not a flood to destroy the earth anymore."

7 For Lord YHWH does nothing, || Except He has revealed His counsel to His servants the prophets.

11 You, O YHWH, do not restrain Your mercies from me, || Your kindness and Your truth continually keep me.

22 Cast on YHWH that which He has given you, || And He sustains you, || He does not permit the moving of the righteous forever.

16 And I sing of Your strength, || And at morning I sing of Your kindness, || For You have been a tower to me, || And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.

11 And the king rejoices in God, || Everyone swearing by Him boasts, || But the mouth of those speaking lies is stopped!

4 Sing to God—praise His Name, || Raise up a highway for Him who is riding in deserts, || In YAH [is] His Name, and exult before Him. 5 Father of the fatherless, and judge of the widows, || [Is] God in His holy habitation.

19 Blessed [is] the Lord, day by day He lays on us. God Himself [is] our salvation. Selah.

10 I [am] your God YHWH, || Who brings you up out of the land of Egypt. Enlarge your mouth, and I fill it.

11 For YHWH God [is] a sun and a shield, || YHWH gives grace and glory. He does not withhold good || To those walking in uprightness.

10 You who love YHWH, hate evil, || He is keeping the souls of His saints, || He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

6 YHWH [is] a preserver of the simple, || I was low, and He gives salvation to me. 7 Return, O my soul, to your rest, || For YHWH has conferred benefits on you. 8 For You have delivered my soul from death, || My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing. 9 I habitually walk before YHWH || In the lands of the living.

114 You [are] my hiding place and my shield, || I have hoped for Your word.

17 There I cause a horn to spring up for David, || I have arranged a lamp for My Anointed. 18 I clothe His enemies [with] shame, || And His crown flourishes on Him!"

7 Doing judgment for the oppressed, || Giving bread to the hungry. 8 YHWH is loosing the prisoners, || YHWH is opening (the eyes of) the blind, || YHWH is raising the bowed down, || YHWH is loving the righteous, 9 YHWH is preserving the strangers, || He causes the fatherless and widow to stand, || And He turns the way of the wicked upside down.

8 Together I lie down and sleep in peace, || For You, O YHWH, alone, || Cause me to dwell in confidence!

8 Does man deceive God? But you are deceiving Me, || And you have said, || In what have we deceived You? The tithe and the raised-offering! 9 You are cursed with a curse! And you are deceiving Me—this nation—all of it. 10 Bring in all the tithe to the treasure-house, || And there is food in My house; When you have tried Me, now, with this," said YHWH of Hosts, || "Do I not open the windows of the heavens to you? Indeed, I have emptied on you a blessing until there is no space.

26 And I have given them, and the outskirts of My hill, a blessing, || And caused the shower to come down in its season, || They are showers of blessing.

12 For wisdom [is] a defense, money [is] a defense, || And the advantage of the knowledge of wisdom [is], || She revives her possessors.

14 So also the LORD directed to those proclaiming the good news to live of the good news.

10 for the love of money is a root of all the evils, which certain [ones] longing for went astray from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows;

25 For I have satiated the weary soul, || And I have filled every grieved soul."

12 for which cause these things I also suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I have known in whom I have believed, and have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him—to that day.
