1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY SONS OF KORAH. FOR GIRLS’ [VOICES]. A SONG. God [is] our refuge and strength, || A most sure help in adversities.(Psalms 46:1)

1 He who is dwelling || In the secret place of the Most High, || Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty, 2 He is saying of YHWH, "My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,"(Psalms 91:1,2)

4 He covers you over with His pinion, || And under His wings you trust, || His truth [is] a shield and buckler.(Psalms 91:4)

7 One thousand fall at your side, || And a myriad at your right hand, || [But] it does not come near to you.(Psalms 91:7)

9 (For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), || You made the Most High your habitation. 10 Evil does not happen to you, || And a plague does not come near your tent,(Psalms 91:9,10)

1 BY DAVID. YHWH [is] my light and my salvation, || Whom do I fear? YHWH [is] the strength of my life, || Of whom am I afraid?(Psalms 27:1)

2 He alone [is] my rock, and my salvation, || My tower, I am not much moved.(Psalms 62:2)

9 And YHWH is a tower for the bruised, || A tower for times of adversity.(Psalms 9:9)

3 And You, O YHWH, [are] a shield for me, || My glory, and lifter up of my head.(Psalms 3:3)

1 A PSALM OF DAVID, IN HIS FLEEING FROM THE FACE OF HIS SON ABSALOM. YHWH, how my distresses have multiplied! Many are rising up against me. 2 Many are saying of my soul, "There is no salvation for him in God." Selah. 3 And You, O YHWH, [are] a shield for me, || My glory, and lifter up of my head. 4 My voice [is] to YHWH: I call and He answers me from His holy hill, Selah. 5 I have lain down, and I sleep, || I have awoken, for YHWH sustains me. 6 I am not afraid of myriads of people, || That they have set against me all around.(Psalms 3:1-6)

30 God—perfect [is] His way, || The saying of YHWH is tried, || He [is] a shield to all those trusting in Him.(Psalms 18:30)

35 And You give to me the shield of Your salvation, || And Your right hand supports me, || And Your lowliness makes me great. 36 You enlarge my step under me, || And my ankles have not slipped.(Psalms 18:35,36)

11 And all trusting in You rejoice, || They sing for all time, and You cover them over, || And those loving Your Name exult in You. 12 For You bless the righteous, O YHWH, || Surrounding him with favor as a buckler!(Psalms 5:11,12)

6 I called You, for You answer me, || O God, incline Your ear to me, hear my speech. 7 Separate Your kindness wonderfully, O Savior of the confiding, || By Your right hand, from withstanders. 8 Keep me as the apple, the daughter of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings, 9 From the face of the wicked who spoiled me, || [From] my enemies in soul who go around against me.(Psalms 17:6-9)

7 You [are] a hiding place for me, || You keep me from distress, || Surround me [with] songs of deliverance. Selah.(Psalms 32:7)

1 BY DAVID. Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock, || Who is teaching My hands for war, || My fingers for battle. 2 My kind one, and my bulwark, || My tower, and my deliverer, || My shield, and in whom I have trusted, || Who is subduing my people under me!(Psalms 144:1,2)

10 Young lions have lacked and been hungry, || And those seeking YHWH do not lack any good,(Psalms 34:10)

3 Trust in YHWH, and do good, || Dwell [in] the land, and enjoy faithfulness,(Psalms 37:3)

25 I have been young, || I have also become old, || And I have not seen the righteous forsaken, || And his seed seeking bread.(Psalms 37:25)

8 therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows those things that you have need of before your asking Him;(Matthew 6:8)

33 but seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these will be added to you.(Matthew 6:33)

13 I have strength for all things, in Christ’s strengthening me;(Philippians 4:13)

I lift up my eyes to the hills, || From where does my help come? 2 My help [is] from YHWH, || Maker of the heavens and earth, 3 He does not permit your foot to be moved, || He who is preserving you does not slumber. 4 Behold, He does not slumber, nor sleep, || He who is preserving Israel. 5 YHWH [is] He who is preserving you, || YHWH [is] your shade on your right hand, 6 By day the sun does not strike you, || Nor the moon by night. 7 YHWH preserves you from all evil, || He preserves your soul. 8 YHWH preserves your going out and your coming in, || From now on—even for all time!(Psalms 121:1-8)

7 A messenger of YHWH is encamping, || Around those who fear Him, || And He arms them.(Psalms 34:7)

22 YHWH redeems the soul of His servants, || And none trusting in Him are desolate!(Psalms 34:22)

8 I placed YHWH before me continually, || Because [He is] at my right hand I am not moved.(Psalms 16:8)

1 TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH answers you, || In a day of adversity, || The Name of the God of Jacob sets you on high, 2 He sends your help from the sanctuary, || And supports you from Zion,(Psalms 20:1,2)

20 Keep my soul, and deliver me, || Do not let me be ashamed, for I trusted in You. 21 Integrity and uprightness keep me, || For I have waited [on] You.(Psalms 25:20,21)

17 A false thing [is] the horse for safety, || And he does not deliver || By the abundance of his strength. 18 Behold, the eye of YHWH [is] to those fearing Him, || To those waiting for His kindness, 19 To deliver their soul from death, || And to keep them alive in famine.(Psalms 33:17-19)

20 Our soul has waited for YHWH, || He [is] our help and our shield,(Psalms 33:20)

6 YHWH [is] for me, || I do not fear what man does to me.(Psalms 118:6)

8 Better to take refuge in YHWH, || Than to trust in man,(Psalms 118:8)

10 The Name of YHWH [is] a tower of strength, || The righteous runs into it, and is set on high.(Proverbs 18:10)

26 For YHWH is at your side, || And He has kept your foot from capture.(Proverbs 3:26)

9 Whoever is walking in integrity walks confidently, || And whoever is perverting his ways is known.(Proverbs 10:9)

26 Strong confidence [is] in the fear of YHWH, || And there is a refuge to His sons.(Proverbs 14:26)

5 Every saying of God [is] tried, || He [is] a shield to those trusting in Him.(Proverbs 30:5)

6 For YHWH gives wisdom, || Knowledge and understanding from His mouth. 7 Even to lay up substance for the upright, || A shield for those walking uprightly. 8 To keep the paths of judgment, || And He preserves the way of His saints.(Proverbs 2:6-8)

6 be strong and courageous, do not fear, nor be terrified because of them, for your God YHWH [is] He who is going with you; He does not fail you nor forsake you."(Deuteronomy 31:6)

27 The eternal God [is] a habitation, || And beneath [are] continuous arms. And He casts out the enemy from your presence and says, Destroy!(Deuteronomy 33:27)

14 YHWH fights for you, and you keep silent."(Exodus 14:14)

3 You keep [him] in peace [whose] imagination [is] stayed—peace! For he is confident in You.(Isaiah 26:3)

29 Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And one of them will not fall on the ground without your Father; 30 and of you—even the hairs of the head are all numbered; 31 therefore, do not be afraid, you are better than many sparrows.(Matthew 10:29-31)

31 What, then, will we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?(Romans 8:31)

6 so that we boldly say, "The LORD [is] to me a helper, and I will not fear what man will do to me."(Hebrews 13:6)
