1 God is our refuge and strength,

A *very ready help in *trouble.(Psalm 46:1)

1 One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress,

My God, in whom I trust!"(Psalm 91:1,2)

4 He will cover you with His pinions,

And under His wings you may take refuge;

His faithfulness is a shield and wall.(Psalm 91:4)

7 A thousand may fall at your side

And ten thousand at your right hand,

But it shall not approach you.(Psalm 91:7)

9 *For you have made the Lord, my refuge,

The Most High, your dwelling place.

10 No evil will happen to you,

Nor will any plague come near your *tent.(Psalm 91:9,10)

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;

Whom should I fear?

The Lord is the *defense of my life;

Whom should I dread?(Psalm 27:1)

2 He alone is my rock and my salvation,

My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken.(Psalm 62:2)

9 *The Lord will also be a stronghold for the oppressed,

3 But You, Lord, are a shield around me,

The word of the Lord is refined;

He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.(Psalm 18:30)

And Your right hand upholds me;

And Your *gentleness makes me great.
