1 God is our refuge and strength,

a very present help in trouble.(Psalms 46:1)

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress;

my God, in whom I trust."(Psalms 91:1,2)

4 He will cover you with his feathers.

Under his wings you will take refuge.

His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.(Psalms 91:4)

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

and ten thousand at your right hand;

but it will not come near you.(Psalms 91:7)

9 Because you have made Yahweh your refuge,

and the Most High your dwelling place,

10 no evil shall happen to you,

neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.(Psalms 91:9,10)

1 Yahweh is my light and my salvation.

Whom shall I fear?

Yahweh is the strength of my life.

Of whom shall I be afraid?(Psalms 27:1)

2 He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.

I will never be greatly shaken.(Psalms 62:2)

9 Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed;

a high tower in times of trouble.(Psalms 9:9)

3 But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,

my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.(Psalms 3:3)

1 Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased!

Many are those who rise up against me.

Yahweh’s word is tried.

He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.(Psalms 18:30)

Where does my help come from?

7 Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him,
