Deus, a nossa fortaleza

O Senhor é refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente na angústia. Quem habita no esconderijo do Altíssimo descansa à sombra do Todo-Poderoso.

O escudo do Senhor

19 And my God shall supply all your need, according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

8 Be not therefore like them; for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

7 Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.8 For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.

11 If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him?

Guarda e livramento

A presença protetora

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall to the ground without your Father.30 Yea, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.31 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men,

22 And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

17 And ye shall be hated by all men for my names sake.18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

35 And he said to them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing?

31 What shall we say then to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do unto me.

7 Submit yourselves, therefore, to God: resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

14 And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.15 And if we know that he heareth us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we asked of him.

18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;

11 And I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep thro' thy name them whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them thro' thy name. Those whom thou hast given me I have guarded, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

15 I do not pray, that thou wouldest take them out of the world, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil one.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the world, of the darkness of this age, against wicked spirits in heavenly places.

14 So also hath the Lord ordained, that they who preach the gospel, should live of the gospel.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evils; which some coveting, have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

12 For which cause also I suffer these things: yet I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have trusted, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him, until that day.
