And he said, That which goes forth out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, go forth evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickednesses, deceit, licentiousness, a wicked eye, injurious language, haughtiness, folly; all these wicked things go forth from within and defile the man.(Mark 7:20-23)

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; — cease to do evil,(Isaiah 1:16)

who being the effulgence of his glory and the expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made by himself the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,(Hebrews 1:3)

how much rather shall the blood of the Christ, who by the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works to worship the living God?(Hebrews 9:14)

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works.(Titus 2:14)

Purificação interior e transformação do coração

Be gracious unto me, O God according to thy loving-kindness; according to the abundance of thy tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me fully from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.(Psalms 51:1,2)

Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me.(Psalms 51:10)

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us purify ourselves from every pollution of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in God’s fear.(2 Corinthians 7:1)

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.(James 4:8)

Beloved, now are we children of God, and what we shall be has not yet been manifested; we know that if it is manifested we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.(1 John 3:2,3)

Ye are already clean by reason of the word which I have spoken to you.(John 15:3)

Husbands, love your own wives, even as the Christ also loved the assembly, and has delivered himself up for it, in order that he might sanctify it, purifying it by the washing of water by the word,(Ephesians 5:25,26)

But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.(1 John 1:7)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9)

And now why lingerest thou? Arise and get baptised, and have thy sins washed away, calling on his name.(The Acts 22:16)

which figure also now saves you, even baptism, not a putting away of the filth of flesh, but the demand as before God of a good conscience, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,(1 Peter 3:21)
