Raiva
A raiva é uma emoção humana que a Bíblia trata com seriedade. Irar-se não é pecado em si, mas a ira descontrolada destrói relacionamentos e abre porta para o mal.
Controlar a ira
A Bíblia nos exorta a ser tardios para irar-se. A resposta branda desvia o furor, e o que se controla é mais forte que um guerreiro.
19 Therefore, brethren of me beloved ones, let be every man quick in order that to have heard, slow in order that to have spoken, slow in order to wrath.
Irar-se sem pecar
Paulo ensina: irai-vos, mas não pequeis. Não deixe o sol se pôr sobre a vossa ira, para não dar lugar ao diabo.
26 Be you angry and not do you sin; the sun not let it set on the wrath of you;27 not even give you a place for the accuser.
Amor e perdão acima da raiva
O amor cobre multidão de pecados. A Bíblia nos chama a não alimentar rancor, mas a perdoar e amar, vencendo a raiva com compaixão.
4 The love suffers long, is gentle; the love not envies; the love not is boastful, not is puffed up,5 not acts unbecomingly, not seeks the things of herself, not is provoked to anger, not imputes the evil,
20 He said and: That the out of the man, proceeding forth, that makes common the man.21 Within for out of the heart of the men the purposes the evil proceeds; adulteries, fornications, murders,22 thefts, covetousnesses, villianies, deceit, intemperance, eye evil, evil speaking, pride, folly;23 all these the things evil within comes forth, and makes common the man.
12 Take you heed, brethren, lest ever shall be in any one of you a heart evil of unbelief, in the to fall away from God living;
