Reino
O Reino de Deus é o tema central da pregação de Jesus. Desde o início de seu ministério, Ele proclamou: 'Arrependei-vos, porque é chegado o Reino dos céus.'
O anúncio do Reino
Jesus inaugurou seu ministério proclamando a chegada do Reino. Ele convida todos ao arrependimento e à fé nessa nova realidade.
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
and saying, "The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust] in the good news [regarding salvation]."
and heal those in it who are sick [authenticating your message], and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
How beautiful and delightful on the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who announces peace,
Who brings good news of good [things],
Who announces salvation,
Who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" [Acts 10:36; Rom 10:15; Eph 6:14-16]
A natureza do Reino
O Reino de Deus é governo soberano do Senhor sobre todas as coisas. Ele é o Rei eterno, imortal e invisível.
Now to the King of the ages [eternal], immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion and kingdom, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.
Who is [He then] this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.
For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Ruler,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. [Is 2:3, 4; 11:4; 32:1; James 4:12]
God Will Be King over All
And the Lord shall be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord shall be the only one [worshiped], and His name the only one.
Entrar no Reino
Para entrar no Reino é preciso nascer de novo, tornar-se como criança e buscar primeiro a justiça de Deus acima de tudo.
Jesus answered him, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God."
Jesus answered, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God. [Ezek 36:25-27]
But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
But He said, "Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
"Blessed [comforted by inner peace and God’s love] are those who are persecuted for doing that which is morally right, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].
I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven." [Is 22:22; Matt 18:18]
Cidadãos do Reino
Os cristãos são concidadãos dos santos e membros da família de Deus, chamados a viver dignamente do Reino que receberam.
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens [outsiders without rights of citizenship], but you are fellow citizens with the saints (God’s people), and are [members] of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the [chief] Cornerstone,
Do not be afraid and anxious, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) and holy is the person who takes part in the first resurrection; over these the second death [which is eternal separation from God, the lake of fire] has no power or authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and they will reign with Him a thousand years. [Ex 19:6; 1 Pet 2:5, 9; Rev 1:6; 5:10]
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor (perversely) effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers [whose words are used as weapons to abuse, insult, humiliate, intimidate, or slander], nor swindlers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
