O Reino de Deus é o tema central da pregação de Jesus. Desde o início de seu ministério, Ele proclamou: 'Arrependei-vos, porque é chegado o Reino dos céus.'
O anúncio do Reino
Jesus inaugurou seu ministério proclamando a chegada do Reino. Ele convida todos ao arrependimento e à fé nessa nova realidade.
Jesus calls four fishermen
From then on Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has come near."
and saying: "The time has been fulfilled and the Kingdom of God has approached. Repent and believe in the Gospel."
Heal the sick therein and say to them, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you.’
A natureza do Reino
O Reino de Deus é governo soberano do Senhor sobre todas as coisas. Ele é o Rei eterno, imortal e invisível.
Entrar no Reino
Para entrar no Reino é preciso nascer de novo, tornar-se como criança e buscar primeiro a justiça de Deus acima de tudo.
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly I say to you, unless someone is begotten from Above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God."
Jesus answered: "Most assuredly I say to you, unless someone is begotten by water and Spirit he is not able to enter the kingdom of God.
Rather, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
So Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of the heavens."
Blessed are those who have been persecuted on account of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
And I will give you (sg) the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in the heavens, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in the heavens."
Cidadãos do Reino
Os cristãos são concidadãos dos santos e membros da família de Deus, chamados a viver dignamente do Reino que receberam.
So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone;
"Do not fear, little flock, because it pleased the Father to give you the Kingdom.
How to avoid inheriting the Kingdom
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites, nor the greedy, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor the abusive, nor swindlers can inherit the Kingdom of God, absolutely.
