Reino
O Reino de Deus é o tema central da pregação de Jesus. Desde o início de seu ministério, Ele proclamou: 'Arrependei-vos, porque é chegado o Reino dos céus.'
O anúncio do Reino
Jesus inaugurou seu ministério proclamando a chegada do Reino. Ele convida todos ao arrependimento e à fé nessa nova realidade.
17 From that time Jesus began to proclaim, saying, Reform, for the Reign of Heaven approaches.
15 The time, he said, is accomplished, the Reign of God approaches; reform, and believe the good tidings.
9 cure the sick, and say to them, The Reign of God comes upon you.
A natureza do Reino
O Reino de Deus é governo soberano do Senhor sobre todas as coisas. Ele é o Rei eterno, imortal e invisível.
17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God alone, be honor and glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Entrar no Reino
Para entrar no Reino é preciso nascer de novo, tornar-se como criança e buscar primeiro a justiça de Deus acima de tudo.
3 Jesus answering, said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a man be born again, he can not discern the Reign of God.
5 Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a man be born of water and Spirit, he can not enter the kingdom of God.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and the righteousness required by him; and all these things shall be superadded to you.
14 Jesus said, Let the children alone, and hinder them not from coming to me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
10 Happy they who suffer persecution on account of righteousness; for the kingdom of heaven is theirs!
19 Moreover, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatever you shall bind on the earth, shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you shall loose on the earth, shall be loosed in heaven.
Cidadãos do Reino
Os cristãos são concidadãos dos santos e membros da família de Deus, chamados a viver dignamente do Reino que receberam.
19 Now, then, you are no longer strangers and sojourners; but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God:20 having been built upon the foundation of the Apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the foundation corner stone;
32 Fear not, my little flock, for it has pleased your Father to give you the kingdom.
6 Happy and holy is he who has a part in the first resurrection! on such, the second death shall have no power; but they shall be the priests of God, and of Christ: and they shall reign with him a thousand years.
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites,10 nor thieves, nor misers, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
