Os relacionamentos são centrais na vida cristã. A Bíblia orienta sobre amizade, casamento, família e convivência, sempre tendo o amor como fundamento de toda relação.
Amor e amizade
O amigo ama em todo tempo. A Bíblia valoriza amizades verdadeiras que edificam, fortalecem e desafiam ao crescimento mútuo.
Friends always show their love. What are relatives for if not to share trouble?
People learn from one another, just as iron sharpens iron.
Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively.
If one of them falls down, the other can help him up. But if someone is alone and falls, it’s just too bad, because there is no one to help him.
Two people can resist an attack that would defeat one person alone. A rope made of three cords is hard to break.
Casamento e família
O casamento é aliança sagrada. O marido deve amar a esposa como Cristo amou a Igreja, e ambos devem cultivar respeito e submissão mútua.
Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it. He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water,
Men ought to love their wives just as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself. (
But it also applies to you: every husband must love his wife as himself, and every wife must respect her husband.
Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband has authority over his wife just as Christ has authority over the church; and Christ is himself the Savior of the church, his body.
Personal Relations in the New Life
Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, for that is what you should do as Christians.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him."
But because there is so much immorality, every man should have his own wife, and every woman should have her own husband.
A man can inherit a house and money from his parents, but only the Lord can give him a sensible wife.

How hard it is to find a capable wife! She is worth far more than jewels!

Convivência saudável
Os relacionamentos florescem quando tratamos os outros como gostaríamos de ser tratados, com amor crescente e caráter maduro.
"Do for others what you want them to do for you: this is the meaning of the Law of Moses and of the teachings of the prophets.
respect your father and your mother; and love your neighbor as you love yourself."
May the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow more and more and become as great as our love for you.
But if any do not take care of their relatives, especially the members of their own family, they have denied the faith and are worse than an unbeliever.
Warning against Pagan Influences
Do not try to work together as equals with unbelievers, for it cannot be done. How can right and wrong be partners? How can light and darkness live together?
Does this sound as if I am trying to win human approval? No indeed! What I want is God’s approval! Am I trying to be popular with people? If I were still trying to do so, I would not be a servant of Christ.
For this very reason do your best to add goodness to your faith; to your goodness add knowledge; to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add endurance; to your endurance add godliness; to your godliness add Christian affection; and to your Christian affection add love.
If you have to choose between a good reputation and great wealth, choose a good reputation.
