9 Therefore, a Sabbath rest remains for God’s people. 10 For the person who has entered his rest has rested from his own works, just as God did from his.  *

13 "If you keep from desecrating the Sabbath,  *

from doing whatever you want on my holy day;

if you call the Sabbath a delight,

and the holy day of the  Lord  honorable;

and I will make you ride over the heights of the land,  *

and let you enjoy the heritage of your father Jacob."

For the mouth of the  Lord has spoken.  *

31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.  *

8 I will both lie down and sleep in peace,  *

for you alone, Lord, make me live in safety.  *

5 I lie down and sleep;

2 In vain you get up early and stay up late,

working hard to have enough food —

You will look carefully about and lie down in safety.  *

19 You will lie down with no one to frighten you,

and many will seek your favor.  *

2 He will enter into peace —
