Repouso e férias
Deus criou o descanso como parte da vida. O sábado, o repouso e até as férias refletem a confiança de que Deus sustenta todas as coisas — mesmo quando paramos.
O descanso como ordenança
Deus descansou no sétimo dia e nos convidou a fazer o mesmo. O descanso sabático é um presente de Deus para restauração do corpo e da alma.
There remains therefore a keeping of a Sabbath to the people of God-The Father.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God-The Father [did] from his.
If youi turn away youri foot from the Shabbat [Rest], [from] doing youri pleasure on my holy day; and call the Shabbat [Rest] a delight, the holy of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), honourable; and shall honour him, not doing youri own ways, nor finding youri own pleasure, nor speaking [youri own] words:
Then shall youi delight yourself in the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); and I will cause youi to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed youi with the heritage of Ya’akov [Heal of God] youri father: for the mouth of the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has spoken [it].
Whether therefore you2f eat, or drink, or whatsoever you2f do, do all to the glory of God-The Father.
Sono e paz
Ditar-se em paz e dormir tranquilamente é bênção do Senhor. Quem confia nele dorme sem medo e acorda renovado.
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for youi, LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], only makes me dwell in safety.
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] sustained me.
[It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: [for] so he gives his beloved sleep.
youi shall not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flies by day;
When youi lay down, youi shall not be afraid: yea, youi shall lie down, and youi sleep shall be sweet.
The sleep of a labouring man [is] sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
Descanso e segurança
No repouso, encontramos segurança. Deus guarda os justos, e mesmo no silêncio da noite, sua paz nos protege e restaura.
And youi shall be secure, because there is hope; yes, youi shall dig [about youi, and] youi shall take youi rest in safety.
Also youi shall lie down, and none shall make [youi] afraid; yes, many shall make suit unto youi.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, [each one] walking [in] his uprightness.
