Resistir
Resistir ao diabo e às forças do mal é um imperativo bíblico. Deus nos deu autoridade, armas espirituais e poder para enfrentar e vencer toda investida do inimigo.
Autoridade em Cristo
Jesus deu aos seus discípulos autoridade sobre todo o poder do inimigo. Em seu nome, temos domínio sobre as trevas.
19 Behold, I give you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and all the strength of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
17 And the seventy whom he had sent, returned with great joy, saying to him, Our Lord, the demons also are subjected to us through thy name.
1 AND Jeshu called his twelve, and gave them power and authority over all demons and diseases, to heal.
1 And he called his twelve disciples, and gave them power over unclean spirits to cast them out, and to cure every disease and infirmity.
19 To thee will I give the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, shall be loosed in heaven.

10 HENCEFORTH, my brethren, be strong in our Lord, and in the power of his strength.11 And clothe you in all the armour of Aloha, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the accuser.
27 and give no place to the accuser.
4 For the armour of our warfare is not of the flesh, but of the power of Aloha; and by it we cast down the strong-holds of rebels,5 and demolish reasonings and every lofty thing that is exalted against the knowledge of Aloha, and captivate all thoughts unto the obedience of the Meshiha.
Firmes na resistência
Resistir ao diabo é um ato de fé ativa. A Bíblia nos garante que quando resistimos, ele foge, e que maior é o que está em nós do que o que está no mundo.
8 Watch, and be mindful, because your adversary Satana, as a lion, roareth and walketh and seeketh whom he may devour.9 Withstand him then, being confirmed in the faith; and know that upon your brethren also who are in the world, these same sufferings come.
4 But you of Aloha are the children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is with you, than he who is in the world.
8 And he who doeth sin is of Satana, because that from the commencement Satana was a sinner. And for this cause did the Son of Aloha appear, that he might destroy the works of Satana.
33 But he turned, and, beholding his disciples, reprehended Shemun, and said, Get thee behind me, Satana, for thou thinkest not that which is of Aloha, but that which is of the sons of men.
