Ressurreição
A ressurreição é o pilar da fé cristã. Se Cristo não ressuscitou, é vã a nossa fé. Mas Ele venceu a morte, e essa é a garantia da nossa própria ressurreição.
Cristo ressuscitou
O túmulo está vazio! Os anjos declararam: 'Ele não está aqui; ressuscitou!' A ressurreição de Cristo é o fato mais transformador da história.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified. He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!
Ressurreição e vida eterna
Jesus disse: 'Eu sou a ressurreição e a vida.' Quem crê nele viverá, mesmo que morra. A morte foi derrotada na cruz e no túmulo vazio.
Nossa esperança futura
A ressurreição de Cristo garante nossa esperança viva. O Deus de paz trouxe dos mortos o grande Pastor das ovelhas para nossa salvação.
Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand unto this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses did say should come; how that the Christ must suffer, and how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles.
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify: and the third day he shall rise again.
