Descansar no Senhor
Descansar no Senhor é um ato de fé. Em um mundo agitado, Deus nos convida a entregar nossas ansiedades, aquietar o coração e confiar plenamente em sua provisão e cuidado.
O convite ao descanso
Jesus convida os cansados e sobrecarregados a irem a Ele e encontrar descanso para as suas almas. O jugo dele é leve.
I have been wretched and bowed down continually: I went with a mourning countenance all the day.
The rulers of the people are assembled with the God of Abraam: for God’s mighty ones of the earth have been greatly exalted.
For thou hast been my helper, and in the shelter of thy wings will I rejoice.
Confiança e paz
Quem confia no Senhor encontra paz perfeita. A ansiedade perde o poder quando entregamos tudo nas mãos do Deus soberano.
supporting truth, and keeping peace: for on thee, O Lord,
Thus saith the Lord, the Holy Lord of Israel; When thou shalt turn and mourn, then thou shalt be saved; and thou shalt know where thou wast, when thou didst trust in vanities: then your strength became vain, yet ye would not hearken:
And the works of righteousness shall be peace; and righteousness shall ensure rest, and the righteous shall be confident for ever.
but they that wait on God shall renew their strength; they shall put forth new feathers like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not hunger.
Esperar no Senhor
Esperar no Senhor renova as forças. A Bíblia nos ensina que aquietar-se diante de Deus e confiar em seu tempo é marca da maturidade espiritual.

But know ye that the Lord has done wondrous things for his holy one: the Lord will hear me when I cry to him.
Teth. The Lord is good to them that wait for him: the soul which shall seek him is good, and shall wait for, and quietly expect salvation of the Lord.
A fidelidade de Deus
Deus é fiel. Seus planos são de paz e esperança. Podemos descansar sabendo que Ele guarda e sustenta quem nele confia.
But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord shall be. And he shall be as a thriving tree by the waters, and he shall cast forth his root toward a moist place: he shall not fear when heat comes, and there shall be upon him shady branches: he shall not fear in a year of drought, and he shall not fail to bear fruit.
