Descansar no Senhor é um ato de fé. Em um mundo agitado, Deus nos convida a entregar nossas ansiedades, aquietar o coração e confiar plenamente em sua provisão e cuidado.
O convite ao descanso
Jesus convida os cansados e sobrecarregados a irem a Ele e encontrar descanso para as suas almas. O jugo dele é leve.
Come to me, all of you who struggle and who are burdened down. I will give you rest. Accept my yoke, and learn from me. For I am kind and have a humble heart, and in me you will find the rest you need. For my yoke is gentle, and my burden is light."
Be still in God’s presence; wait patiently for him. Don’t be upset over people who prosper when they carry out their evil schemes.
Stop fighting! Recognize I am God! I am the ruler of the nations; I am the ruler of the earth.
My people, always trust in him. Pour out all your thoughts to him, for he is the one who looks after us. Selah.
Confiança e paz
Quem confia no Senhor encontra paz perfeita. A ansiedade perde o poder quando entregamos tudo nas mãos do Deus soberano.
You will keep in complete peace those who keep their minds focused on you, because they trust in you.
This is what the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, said, If you repent and patiently trust in me, you would be saved; you would be strong if you had such calm confidence. But you refused to do it.
Living right will bring peace and security that endures.
But those who trust in the Lord will have their strength renewed. They will fly high with wings like eagles. They will run and not be tired. They will walk and not be worn out.
Then the peace that comes from God, which is better than we can ever imagine, will protect your thoughts and attitudes in Christ Jesus.
Surrender all your worries to him, because he cares for you.
Esperar no Senhor
Esperar no Senhor renova as forças. A Bíblia nos ensina que aquietar-se diante de Deus e confiar em seu tempo é marca da maturidade espiritual.
Trust in the Lord! Be confident—he will give you courage! Trust in the Lord!
I waited for the Lord patiently, and he turned to me—he heard my cry for help.
Throw your burdens onto the Lord and he will take care of you. He will never allow those who live right to fall.
Be in awe; do not sin. When you rest, reflect on this, and keep quiet! Selah.
The Lord is good to those who trust in him, to anyone who seeks to follow him.
It is good to wait quietly for the Lord’s salvation.
A fidelidade de Deus
Deus é fiel. Seus planos são de paz e esperança. Podemos descansar sabendo que Ele guarda e sustenta quem nele confia.
I know what I intend to do for you, declares the Lord. I plan good things for you and not bad. I’m going to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call for my help, you will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will look for me and you will find me when you’re completely committed to looking for me.
Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, who put their confidence in him. They are like trees planted by water, sending out roots toward the stream. They don’t panic when it gets hot; their leaves are always green. They don’t worry during a time of drought—they go on producing fruit.
The Lord replied, "I myself will go with you, and I will support you."
That’s also the reason I’m suffering all this, but I’m not ashamed, because I know whom I’ve trusted. I’m confident that he can look after what I’ve entrusted to him until the Day he returns.
Asa told the people of Judah, "Let us build up these towns and surround them with walls and towers and barred gates. The land is still ours, because we continue to worship the Lord our God. We worship him, and he has given us peace from all our enemies." So they began the building projects, and completed them successfully.
