Descansar no Senhor

"Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light."

Be patient and wait for the Lord to act;

don’t be worried about those who prosper

or those who succeed in their evil plans.

"Stop fighting," he says, "and know that I am God,

supreme among the nations,

supreme over the world."

Trust in God at all times, my people.

Tell him all your troubles,

for he is our refuge.

Confiança e paz

Quem confia no Senhor encontra paz perfeita. A ansiedade perde o poder quando entregamos tudo nas mãos do Deus soberano.

You, Lord, give perfect peace

to those who keep their purpose firm

and put their trust in you.

The Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says to the people, "Come back and quietly trust in me. Then you will be strong and secure." But you refuse to do it.

Because everyone will do what is right, there will be peace and security forever.

But those who trust in the Lord for help

will find their strength renewed.

They will rise on wings like eagles;

they will run and not get weary;

they will walk and not grow weak.

And God’s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.

Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.

Esperar no Senhor

Esperar no Senhor renova as forças. A Bíblia nos ensina que aquietar-se diante de Deus e confiar em seu tempo é marca da maturidade espiritual.

Trust in the Lord.

Have faith, do not despair.

Trust in the Lord.

A Song of Praise#HEBREW TITLE: A psalm by David.

I waited patiently for the Lord's help;

then he listened to me and heard my cry.

Leave your troubles with the Lord,

and he will defend you;

he never lets honest people be defeated.

Tremble with fear and stop sinning;

think deeply about this,

when you lie in silence on your beds.

The Lord is good to everyone who trusts in him,

So it is best for us to wait in patienceto wait for him to save us

A fidelidade de Deus

Deus é fiel. Seus planos são de paz e esperança. Podemos descansar sabendo que Ele guarda e sustenta quem nele confia.

I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart.

"But I will bless the person

who puts his trust in me.

He is like a tree growing near a stream

and sending out roots to the water.

It is not afraid when hot weather comes,

because its leaves stay green;

it has no worries when there is no rain;

it keeps on bearing fruit.

The Lord said, "I will go with you, and I will give you victory."

and it is for this reason that I suffer these things. But I am still full of confidence, because I know whom I have trusted, and I am sure that he is able to keep safe until that Day what he has entrusted to me.

He told the people of Judah, "Let us fortify the cities by building walls and towers, and gates that can be shut and barred. We have control of the land because we have done the will of the Lord our God. He has protected us and given us security on every side." And so they built and prospered.

When they arrived at the edge of town, Samuel said to Saul, "Tell the servant to go on ahead of us." The servant left, and Samuel continued, "Stay here a minute, and I will tell you what God has said."
