Descansar no Senhor
Descansar no Senhor é um ato de fé. Em um mundo agitado, Deus nos convida a entregar nossas ansiedades, aquietar o coração e confiar plenamente em sua provisão e cuidado.
O convite ao descanso
Jesus convida os cansados e sobrecarregados a irem a Ele e encontrar descanso para as suas almas. O jugo dele é leve.
Come to Me, all you laboring and burdened ones, and I will give you rest; take up My yoke on you, and learn from Me, because I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest to your souls, for My yoke [is] easy, and My burden is light."
Be silent for YHWH, and stay yourself for Him, || Do not fret because of him || Who is making his way prosperous, || Because of a man doing wicked schemes.
Desist, and know that I [am] God, || I am exalted among nations, || I am exalted in the earth.
Trust in Him at all times, O people, || Pour forth your heart before Him, || God [is] a refuge for us. Selah.
Confiança e paz
Quem confia no Senhor encontra paz perfeita. A ansiedade perde o poder quando entregamos tudo nas mãos do Deus soberano.
You keep [him] in peace [whose] imagination [is] stayed—peace! For he is confident in You.
For thus said Lord YHWH, || The Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you are saved, || In keeping quiet and in confidence is your might," || And you have not been willing.
And a work of the righteousness has been peace, || And a service of the righteousness—Keeping quiet and confidence for all time.
But those expecting YHWH pass [to] power, || They raise up the pinion as eagles, || They run and are not fatigued, || They go on and do not faint!
and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
having cast all your care on Him, because He cares for you.
Esperar no Senhor
Esperar no Senhor renova as forças. A Bíblia nos ensina que aquietar-se diante de Deus e confiar em seu tempo é marca da maturidade espiritual.
Look to YHWH—be strong, || And He strengthens your heart, || Indeed, look to YHWH!
TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. I have diligently expected YHWH, || And He inclines to me, and hears my cry,
Cast on YHWH that which He has given you, || And He sustains you, || He does not permit the moving of the righteous forever.
"Tremble, and do not sin"; Say [thus] in your heart on your bed, || And be silent. Selah.
YHWH [is] good to those waiting for Him, || To the soul [that] seeks Him. [It is] good when one stays and stands still || For the salvation of YHWH.
A fidelidade de Deus
Deus é fiel. Seus planos são de paz e esperança. Podemos descansar sabendo que Ele guarda e sustenta quem nele confia.
For I have known the thoughts that I am thinking toward you—a declaration of YHWH; thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give posterity and hope to you. And you have called Me, and have gone, and have prayed to Me, and I have listened to you, and you have sought Me, and have found, for you seek Me with all your heart;
Blessed [is] the man who trusts in YHWH, || And whose confidence has been YHWH. And has been as a tree planted by waters, || And he sends forth his roots by a stream, || And he does not see when heat comes, || And his leaf has been green, || And he is not sorrowful in a year of scarcity, || Nor does he cease from making fruit.
and He says, "My presence goes, and I have given rest to you."
for which cause these things I also suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I have known in whom I have believed, and have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him—to that day.
And he says to Judah, "Let us build these cities, and surround [them] with wall, and towers, double gates, and bars, while the land [is] before us, because we have sought our God YHWH, we have sought, and He gives rest to us all around"; and they build and prosper.
They are going down in the extremity of the city, and Samuel has said to Saul, "Say to the young man that he should pass on before us (and he passes on), and you, stand at this time, and I cause you to hear the word of God."
