Descansar no Senhor
Descansar no Senhor é um ato de fé. Em um mundo agitado, Deus nos convida a entregar nossas ansiedades, aquietar o coração e confiar plenamente em sua provisão e cuidado.
O convite ao descanso
Jesus convida os cansados e sobrecarregados a irem a Ele e encontrar descanso para as suas almas. O jugo dele é leve.
28 Come to Me all [you] who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls.30 For My yoke [is] easy, and My burden is light.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of him who practices wickedness.
10 Be still, and know that I [am] God! I will be praised among the nations, I will be praised in the earth.
8 Trust in Him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before Him; God [is] a hiding-place for us. Selah.
Confiança e paz
Quem confia no Senhor encontra paz perfeita. A ansiedade perde o poder quando entregamos tudo nas mãos do Deus soberano.
3 You will keep [him] in perfect peace, whose mind [is] stayed on You; because he trusts in You.
15 For so says the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; and in quietness and hope shall be your strength. And you were not willing.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the work of righteousness shall be quietness and hope forever.
31 but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up [with] wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
7 And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
7 casting all your anxiety onto Him, for He cares for you.
Esperar no Senhor
Esperar no Senhor renova as forças. A Bíblia nos ensina que aquietar-se diante de Deus e confiar em seu tempo é marca da maturidade espiritual.
14 Hope in the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall make your heart strong; yea, hope in the LORD.
1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and He bowed down to me, and heard my cry.
22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will keep you; He will never allow the righteous to waver.
4 Tremble, and sin not; speak within your own heart on your bed and be still. Selah.
25 The LORD [is] good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.26 [It is] good that one should hope for the salvation of the LORD, even in silence.
A fidelidade de Deus
Deus é fiel. Seus planos são de paz e esperança. Podemos descansar sabendo que Ele guarda e sustenta quem nele confia.
11 For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says the LORD; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.12 Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.13 And you shall seek Me and find [Me], when you search for Me with all your heart.
7 Blessed [is] the man who trusts in the LORD, and Jehovah is his trust.8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters; [it] sends out its roots by the river, and [it] shall not fear when the heat comes, but its foliage shall be green; and he is not worried in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit.
14 And He said, My presence shall go [with you], and I will give you rest.
12 For this cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard My deposit unto that Day.
7 And he said to Judah, Let us build these cities and make walls around [them], and towers, gates and bars, while the land [is] still before us. Because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought, and He has given us rest on every side. And they built and were blessed.
27 They were going down to the end of the city, and Samuel said to Saul, Tell the servant to pass on before us and pass on. And you stand still awhile, so that I may cause you to hear the word of God.
