Roupas
A Bíblia fala sobre roupas em sentido literal e espiritual. Deus vestiu Adão e Eva, nos veste de salvação e nos chama a revestir-nos de Cristo e de virtudes santas.
Deus provê as vestes
Desde o Éden, Deus cuidou das necessidades dos seus filhos. Ele nos veste de salvação e de justiça, cobrindo nossa vergonha com sua graça.
And the eyes of both were opened, and they perceived that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons to go round them.
And the Lord God made for Adam and his wife garments of skin, and clothed them.
and they shall greatly rejoice in the Lord.
Let my soul rejoice in the Lord; for he has clothed me with the robe of salvation, and the garment of joy: he has put a mitre on me as on a bridegroom, and adorned me with ornaments as a bride.
Revestidos de Cristo

Modéstia e confiança
A beleza verdadeira não está no exterior. A Escritura valoriza o caráter interior acima de adornos e nos ensina a não nos preocupar excessivamente com roupas.
