Salvação
A salvação é a obra suprema de Deus. Pela graça, mediante a fé, somos salvos — não por obras, para que ninguém se glorie. É o presente mais precioso que a humanidade pode receber.
A salvação pela graça
A salvação é dom de Deus, não resultado de esforço humano. Somos justificados pela fé em Cristo Jesus e reconciliados com Deus pelo seu amor.
for by grace you are saved, through faith, and this [is] not of yourselves—[it is] the gift of God, not of works, that no one may boast;
(not by works that [are] in righteousness that we did but according to His kindness), He saved us, through a bathing of regeneration, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit,
who saved us, and called with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages,
for I am not ashamed of the good news of the Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone who is believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek.
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God—
for scarcely for a righteous man will anyone die, for the good man perhaps someone also dares to die; and God commends His own love to us, that, in our being still sinners, Christ died for us;
for the wages of sin [is] death, and the gift of God [is] continuous life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
O caminho da salvação
Quem confessa Jesus como Senhor e crê em sua ressurreição será salvo. A fé em Cristo é o único caminho para a salvação.
that if you may confess with your mouth that Jesus [is] LORD, and may believe in your heart that God raised Him out of the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart [one] believes to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
for with the heart [one] believes to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household."
And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household."
and there is not salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven that has been given among men, in which it is required of us to be saved."
And it will be, everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved.
Jesus says to him, "I AM the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, if not through Me;
for God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life.
but as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become sons of God—to those believing in His Name,
Nova vida em Cristo
Quem está em Cristo é nova criação. A salvação não é apenas perdão, mas transformação completa — de dentro para fora, para a glória de Deus.
so that if anyone [is] in Christ—[he is] a new creature; the old things passed away, behold, all things have become new.
Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born from above, he is not able to see the Kingdom of God";
and said, "Truly I say to you, if you may not be turned and become as the children, you may not enter into the kingdom of the heavens;
if we may confess our sins, He is steadfast and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from every unrighteousness;
the LORD is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering to us, not intending any to be lost, but all to come to conversion,
behold, I have stood at the door, and I knock; if anyone may hear My voice, and may open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.
Segurança eterna
O crente tem a certeza da salvação. Ninguém pode arrebatar da mão de Deus aqueles que Ele chamou, justificou e glorificou.
and I give continuous life to them, and they will not perish—throughout the age, and no one will snatch them out of My hand;
he who is believing in the Son has continuous life; and he who is not believing the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."
whom, having not seen, you love, in whom, now believing [although] not seeing, you are glad with unspeakable joy and have been filled with glory, receiving the outcome of the faith—salvation of your souls;
he who has believed and has been immersed will be saved; and he who has not believed will be condemned.
A salvação presente e futura
A salvação é passada (justificação), presente (santificação) e futura (glorificação). Deus nos salva, nos guarda e nos conduz à vida eterna.
For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men, teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, we may live soberly, and righteously, and piously in the present age,
and with blood almost all things are purified according to the Law, and forgiveness does not come apart from blood-shedding.
so also the Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, apart from a sin-offering, for salvation to those waiting for Him!
for if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in His life.
for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all will be made alive,
Nada é impossível para Deus
Aos homens é impossível, mas para Deus tudo é possível. Ele deseja que todos sejam salvos e cheguem ao conhecimento da verdade.
And Jesus, having looked on them, says, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God."
And He said, "The things impossible with men are possible with God."
for the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
for so the LORD has commanded us: I have set you for a light of nations—for your being for salvation to the end of the earth."
Go in through the narrow gate, because wide [is] the gate and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it; how narrow [is] the gate and compressed the way that is leading to life, and few are those finding it!
Have you not known that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God.
and Jesus said to him, "Go, your faith has saved you": and immediately he saw again, and was following Jesus in the way.
TO THE OVERSEER. FOR JEDUTHUN. A PSALM OF DAVID. Toward God alone [is] my soul silent, || My salvation [is] from Him.
And You give to me the shield of Your salvation, || And Your right hand supports me, || And Your lowliness makes me great. You enlarge my step under me, || And my ankles have not slipped.
Though the fig tree does not flourish, || And there is no produce among vines, || The work of the olive has failed, || And fields have not yielded food, || The flock has been cut off from the fold, || And there is no herd in the stalls, Yet I, in YHWH I exult, || I am joyful in the God of my salvation.
Since you were precious in My eyes, || You were honored, and I have loved you, || And I appoint men in your stead, || And peoples instead of your life.
