Salvação

8 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

5 He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth* and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

God’s Grace Brings Salvation

11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. 12 It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age,

22 According to the law, in fact, nearly everything must be purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

28 so also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him.

10 For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!

22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

The Narrow Gate

13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Members of Christ

9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

52 "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

Waiting on God

In God alone my soul finds rest;

my salvation comes from Him.

36 You broaden the path beneath me

so that my ankles do not give way.

Habakkuk Rejoices

17 Though the fig tree does not bud

and no fruit is on the vines,

though the olive crop fails

and the fields produce no food,

though the sheep are cut off from the fold

and no cattle are in the stalls,

18 yet I will exult in the LORD;

I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!

4 Because you are precious and honored in My sight,

and because I love you,

I will give men in exchange for you

and nations in place of your life.
