Salvador
Jesus é o Salvador do mundo.
The Savior has been born to you today, here in David's city. He is the Messiah, the Lord.
Though in his nature he was always God, he wasn't concerned to cling onto his equality with God. Instead he emptied himself, taking the nature of a servant, becoming like a human being. Coming in human form, humbling himself, he submitted himself to death—even death on a cross.
Yet I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You shall know no other gods but me. None can save you except me.
O sacrifício redentor
Jesus deu a própria vida por nós. Ele é a propiciação pelos nossos pecados e o autor da salvação eterna para todos os que lhe obedecem.
Through him our sins are forgiven—and not only our sins, but those of the whole world.
This is love! It's not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and he sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven.
While we were his enemies, God made us his friends through the death of his Son, and so we can be absolutely sure that he will save us through the life of his Son.
You already know that you were not set free from your pointless way of living that you inherited from your forefathers by things that don't have lasting value, like silver or gold. You were set free by the costly blood of Christ, who was like a lamb with no flaw or defect.
Through him we gain salvation through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins as a result of his priceless grace
I've been crucified with Christ— so it's no longer I who lives, but it is Christ living in me. The life I now live in this body, I live by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me, and who gave himself for me.
O caminho da salvação
Jesus é o mediador da nova aliança. Ele vive para interceder por nós e pode salvar perfeitamente todos os que se achegam a Deus por meio dele.
When his experience was complete, he became the source of eternal salvation to everyone who does what he says,
As a result he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, living always to plead their case on their behalf.
This is why he is the mediator of a new agreed relationship. Since a death has occurred to set them free from the sins committed under the first agreed relationship, now those who are called can receive the promise of an eternal inheritance.
We should keep on looking to Jesus, the one who begins and completes our trust in God. Because of the joy ahead of him Jesus endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and sat down at the right hand of God's throne.
We have all sinned, and we fall far short of God's glorious ideal. Yet through the free gift of his grace, God makes us right through Christ Jesus who sets us free.
God has looked after me so I can stand here today as a witness to everyone, both to ordinary people and to those who are important. I am only repeating what Moses and the prophets said would happen— how the Messiah had to suffer, and that by being the first to rise from the dead he would announce the light of God's salvation to both Jews and foreigners."
The angel told the women, "Don't be afraid! I know you're looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He's not here. He's risen from the dead, just as he said he would. Come and see where the Lord was lying.
I know my Redeemer is alive, and that he shall finally take the stand for me on the earth.
