O sangue de Jesus
O sangue de Jesus é o fundamento da redenção cristã. Através do seu sangue derramado na cruz, recebemos perdão, purificação e acesso à presença de Deus.
O poder redentor do sangue
O sangue de Cristo é o preço do nosso resgate. Sem derramamento de sangue não há remissão de pecados, e Cristo ofereceu o sacrifício perfeito e definitivo.
Indeed, according to the Law almost everything is purified by blood, and sins are forgiven only if blood is poured out.
The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a burnt calf are sprinkled on the people who are ritually unclean, and this purifies them by taking away their ritual impurity. Since this is true, how much more is accomplished by the blood of Christ! Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will purify our consciences from useless rituals, so that we may serve the living God.
For the blood of bulls and goats can never take away sins.
For this reason Jesus also died outside the city, in order to purify the people from sin with his own blood.
You have come to Jesus, who arranged the new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that promises much better things than does the blood of Abel.
Perdão e purificação
O sangue de Jesus nos purifica de todo pecado. Nele temos redenção e perdão, segundo as riquezas de sua graça.
But if we live in the light—just as he is in the light—then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from every sin.
For by the blood of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven. How great is the grace of God,
But now, in union with Christ Jesus you, who used to be far away, have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
"this is my blood, which seals God’s covenant, my blood poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first to be raised from death and who is also the ruler of the kings of the world.
He loves us, and by his sacrificial death he has freed us from our sins
God offered him, so that by his blood he should become the means by which people’s sins are forgiven through their faith in him. God did this in order to demonstrate that he is righteous. In the past he was patient and overlooked people’s sins; but in the present time he deals with their sins, in order to demonstrate his righteousness. In this way God shows that he himself is righteous and that he puts right everyone who believes in Jesus.
By his blood we are now put right with God; how much more, then, will we be saved by him from God’s anger!
O sangue da aliança
Desde o Êxodo, o sangue é sinal de aliança entre Deus e seu povo. O sangue do Cordeiro pascal prefigurava o sacrifício supremo de Cristo.
The First Passover
Moses called for all the leaders of Israel and said to them, "Each of you is to choose a lamb or a young goat and kill it, so that your families can celebrate Passover. Take a sprig of hyssop, dip it in the bowl containing the animal’s blood, and wipe the blood on the doorposts and the beam above the door of your house. Not one of you is to leave the house until morning. When the Lord goes through Egypt to kill the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the beams and the doorposts and will not let the Angel of Death enter your houses and kill you.
The life of every living thing is in the blood, and that is why the Lord has commanded that all blood be poured out on the altar to take away the people’s sins. Blood, which is life, takes away sins.
The one thing you must not eat is meat with blood still in it; I forbid this because the life is in the blood. If anyone takes human life, he will be punished. I will punish with death any animal that takes a human life. Human beings were made like God, so whoever murders one of them will be killed by someone else.
If you did this, you would defile the land where you are living. Murder defiles the land, and except by the death of the murderer there is no way to perform the ritual of purification for the land where someone has been murdered.
Vitória pelo sangue
Os cristãos vencem o acusador pelo sangue do Cordeiro e pela palavra do seu testemunho. O sangue comprou para Deus gente de toda tribo e língua.
They won the victory over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the truth which they proclaimed; and they were willing to give up their lives and die.
For you know what was paid to set you free from the worthless manner of life handed down by your ancestors. It was not something that can be destroyed, such as silver or gold; it was the costly sacrifice of Christ, who was like a lamb without defect or flaw.
So keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock which the Holy Spirit has placed in your care. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he made his own through the blood of his Son.
Jesus said to them, "I am telling you the truth: if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day.
The Witness about Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the one who came with the water of his baptism and the blood of his death. He came not only with the water, but with both the water and the blood. And the Spirit himself testifies that this is true, because the Spirit is truth.
