A saúde é uma bênção de Deus. A Bíblia ensina que Deus é nosso curador, que devemos cuidar do corpo como templo do Espírito e que a alegria do Senhor renova nossas forças.

O Senhor é quem sara todas as nossas doenças. Ele prometeu abençoar o pão e a água e tirar as enfermidades do meio do seu povo.
You are to worship the Lord your God, and he will bless your food and water. I will make sure none of you fall sick.
He heals the broken-hearted, and bandages the wounded.
Heal those who are sick. Resurrect the dead. Cure the lepers. Drive out demons. You received freely, so give freely!

O corpo como templo
Nosso corpo é templo do Espírito Santo. A Bíblia nos encoraja a cuidar da saúde física com disciplina e reverência a Deus.

My friend, I pray most of all that you’re doing well and are in good physical health, for I know you’re doing well spiritually.
Don’t think you’re wise—respect God and avoid evil. Then you will be healed and made strong.

A cheerful attitude is like good medicine, but discouragement makes you sick.
Kind words are like a honeycomb—they taste sweet and are healthy for the body.
Hope that’s delayed makes you feel sick, but a wish that comes true revives you.
So don’t let your mind worry, and avoid things that hurt your body. Even so, despite youth and enthusiasm, life is still so hard to understand!
