A segunda vinda de Cristo é a esperança suprema da Igreja. Jesus prometeu que voltará com poder e grande glória para julgar os vivos e os mortos e estabelecer seu Reino eterno.
A promessa do retorno
Jesus prometeu voltar. Os anjos declararam que Ele virá da mesma forma como ascendeu. A Igreja aguarda esse dia glorioso com expectativa.

Yesʉ nzɨla akendela kʉng’wa Tata
Yesʉ wɨkaaɨla, "Leki kʉhʉshi mʉnkolo yanyu. Mʉmʉhʉɨɨe Itunda, nihʉɨɨli nʉnene ga. Mʉnyʉmba ang’wa Tata wane lʉkolɨ likalo lɨdʉ, kang’wɨ shangaʉʉ, ɨze namʉtambʉɨe. Itungo ɨlɨ nongoe nende mʉnoneelya likalo. Ʉnene anga nende nʉmʉnonelya ʉnyenye ʉlikalo, kʉtulya nʉmʉhole mɨshiɨ palʉng’wɨ nʉnene, ingɨ pa nkolɨ ʉnene, nʉnyenye mʉtule papo.
Os sinais dos tempos
Jesus descreveu os sinais que precederão sua volta: falsos profetas, guerras, fome, terremotos e tribulação. Devemos discernir os tempos sem nos alarmar.

Yesʉ wɨkaasʉkɨɨlya, "Hʉgʉki mʉleke kʉkongwa nʉ mʉntʉ. Kʉnsoko azile antʉ ɨdʉ azelʉnga ʉnene nɨ Kilisito, antʉ nɨanso akʉalimɨlya antʉ ɨdʉ. Mʉkija makani a mbita ning’ung’u nɨla mbita, ingɨ mʉleke kʉhʉsha, kʉnsoko nanso atakɨwe kʉpʉmɨla. Ingɨ ɨmpelo ɨkɨlɨ.
"Sʉnga akʉmʉamba nʉkʉmaja ang’wɨanyu akʉbʉlagwa. Antʉ ɨhi akʉmʉbɨpɨlwa kʉnsoko mʉnihʉɨɨe nene. Matungo nɨlanso antʉ idʉ nɨanihʉɨɨe akʉleka kʉnihʉɨɨla, akipɨlʉka nʉkibɨpɨlwa. Akigela amanga ɨdʉ nɨaʉteele nawo akʉalimɨɨlya antʉ idʉ.

Mʉtɨ wɨlɨngɨka kʉ nkali yakwe
"Hʉgʉki nɨ amanga aʉteele, antʉ nɨ ɨtendisa kɨna apolo anga nkolo kʉnʉ mʉkatɨ akete ʉlʉgʉ ʉkʉlʉ ɨhanga mbugi.

Cristo virá nas nuvens com poder e grande glória, enviará seus anjos e reunirá seus escolhidos dos quatro ventos.

Mpyani a mʉkʉyʉ
Imanyisi kʉ mpyani a mʉkʉyʉ. Anga mʉone ʉdu matʉtʉ akwe andya kʉtegeta, mɨlɨnga kɨna malɨma ahʉmbeela. Nʉnyenye ga anga mʉone makani aya ɨhi akitʉng’wa, lɨngi kɨna matungo akʉpembya ʉ Ng’waa Mʉntʉ ahumbeela.
Kʉnsoko, Ng’wana nʉwa Mʉntʉ ʉzɨɨza kikʉlyo lang’wa Tata wakwe palʉng’wɨ nɨa Itʉmi akigʉlʉ nɨang’wi Itunda, pang’wanso papo nʉɨka mʉlɨpa mʉntʉ wɨhi anga mʉntendo yakwe.
Kʉtulya kʉ Ng’waa Mʉntʉ
"Yʉkʉtula niilɨngasɨɨlyo mʉlyoa nʉ mʉng’weli nʉ mʉnzota. Yʉkʉtula nʉmʉlulumo nɨmaɨngʉ mʉlʉzɨ nʉlʉkʉlʉ, nɨantʉ a mihɨɨ ɨdʉ akʉnyong’wa nʉkogopa. Antʉ akʉkatapa kʉnsoko awoa, aze asʉmbɨɨye ɨmakani nakʉʉhanga ʉʉnkumbigʉlʉ, kʉnsoko ngulu nia kilunde yʉkʉhingɨsigwa. Mʉmatungo nanso mʉkʉmona ʉnene Ng’waa Mʉntʉ mpembilye mʉmalunde, nɨze nkete ngulu nʉʉmɨlɨgɨntu ʉkʉlʉ. Matungo makani aya nakandya kʉpumɨla, imɨki ize mikaminyangile, kʉnsoko ʉponyi wanyu wahumbeela."

Vigilância e preparo
Ninguém sabe o dia nem a hora. Jesus nos ordena a vigiar, orar e estar prontos, pois Ele virá quando menos esperamos.

A aguardamos a bendita esperança e a manifestação da glória do nosso grande Deus e Salvador Jesus Cristo.
