O Senhor é o meu pastor

Dizer que o Senhor é o seu pastor não significa que as lutas acabam, mas que você não precisa carregar o peso da vida sozinho. Quando Davi escreveu isso no Salmo 23, ele falava de alívio concreto: ter com quem dividir as incertezas e onde descansar a mente cansada.

1 Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.(Psalms 23:1)

Tira das suas costas a obrigação de controlar tudo e devolve a paz de saber que o essencial já está guardado.

1 Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.(Psalms 23:1-3)

Lembra que parar para respirar não é fraqueza: Deus conduz você a lugares de calma para recuperar as forças perdidas.

9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance; and feed them, and lift them up for ever.(Psalms 28:9)

Pede socorro por você quando faltam forças para orar, lembrando que Deus sustenta a sua caminhada mesmo quando os passos pesam.

Jesus, o Bom Pastor

Na correria do dia a dia, quando parece que ninguém nota o seu cansaço, Jesus mostra um cuidado pessoal: Ele conhece a sua história de perto e nunca abandona quem o segue.

2 but he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. 4 When he has put forth all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.(John 10:2-4)

Mostra que você não é apenas mais um na multidão: Deus chama você pelo nome e vai na frente abrindo o caminho.

11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep:(John 10:11)

Dá a certeza do seu valor para Deus, que entregou a própria vida para proteger você nos momentos de maior perigo.

14 I am the good shepherd; and I know those that are mine, and am known of those that are mine, 15 as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep which are not of this fold: those also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.(John 10:14-16)

Traz o alívio de ser conhecido por inteiro — com todas as suas fragilidades — e acolhido sem risco de rejeição.

25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.(1 Peter 2:25)

Acalma o coração de quem se perdeu nas próprias decisões e garante um recomeço seguro nos braços de Deus.

4 And when the chief shepherd is manifested ye shall receive the unfading crown of glory.(1 Peter 5:4)

Dá ânimo para continuar firme, lembrando que o desgaste e as aflições de agora não definem o final da sua história.

O cuidado de Deus nos dias difíceis

10 Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come with might, and his arm shall rule for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompence before him. 11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd: he will gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom; he will gently lead those that give suck.(Isaiah 40:10,11)

Garante que, quando a força acaba de vez, Deus não exige pressa: Ele carrega você no colo e respeita o seu limite.
