O Salmo 23 é a expressão máxima da confiança em Deus como Pastor. Jesus se declarou o Bom Pastor que conhece suas ovelhas, cuida delas e dá a própria vida por elas.
O Senhor é o meu Pastor
Davi declarou com confiança que o Senhor é seu pastor e nada lhe faltará. Ele nos guia, nos restaura e nos conduz em caminhos de justiça.

1 A Psalm of David.2 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want;3 he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters;
9 The LORD is the strength of his people, he is the saving refuge of his anointed. [ (Psalms 28:10) O save thy people, and bless thy heritage; be thou their shepherd, and carry them for ever. ]
O Bom Pastor
Jesus é o Bom Pastor que conhece suas ovelhas pelo nome. Ele dá a vida por elas, as protege e nenhuma pode ser arrebatada de sua mão.
11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me,15 as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.16 And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd.
2 but he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3 To him the gatekeeper opens; the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
25 For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.
4 And when the chief Shepherd is manifested you will obtain the unfading crown of glory.
O cuidado pastoral de Deus
Como pastor terno e forte, Deus carrega os cordeiros nos braços e guia com cuidado as ovelhas que amamentam.
10 Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd, he will gather the lambs in his arms, he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.
