O Salmo 23 é a expressão máxima da confiança em Deus como Pastor. Jesus se declarou o Bom Pastor que conhece suas ovelhas, cuida delas e dá a própria vida por elas.
O Senhor é o meu Pastor
Davi declarou com confiança que o Senhor é seu pastor e nada lhe faltará. Ele nos guia, nos restaura e nos conduz em caminhos de justiça.
O Bom Pastor
Jesus é o Bom Pastor que conhece suas ovelhas pelo nome. Ele dá a vida por elas, as protege e nenhuma pode ser arrebatada de sua mão.
I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me, even as the Father knows me and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will hear my voice. And there will be one flock with one shepherd.
But he who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out his own sheep, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.
For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of 14 ¦ our 𝔐5 PCKyour souls.
And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
