The LORD is near to the brokenhearted;

He saves the contrite in spirit.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

He heals the brokenhearted

and binds up their wounds.

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

Though my father and mother forsake me,

the LORD will receive me.

Esperança e conforto

A separação não é o fim. Deus transforma a dor em esperança, e o sofrimento presente produz uma glória eterna que supera toda aflição.

The Return of the Lord

Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope.

Future Glory

I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.

who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

You need to persevere, so that after you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.

so that the proven character of your faith more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Amor que persevera

O amor verdadeiro é mais forte que a separação. A fé nos sustenta e nos dá a certeza de que o reencontro virá.

Mighty waters cannot quench love;

rivers cannot sweep it away.

If a man were to give all the wealth of his house for love,

his offer would be utterly scorned.

It was also called Mizpah, because Laban said, "May the LORD keep watch between you and me when we are absent from each other.

I prayed for this boy, and since the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him, I now dedicate the boy to the LORD. For as long as he lives, he is dedicated to the LORD."

So they worshiped the LORD there.

But whatever was gain to me I count as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ
