Separação
A separação traz dor profunda, mas a Bíblia nos consola com a promessa de que Deus nunca nos abandona. Seja na perda, na distância ou no luto, Ele é nosso refúgio.
Deus está presente na dor
O Senhor está perto dos quebrantados de coração e promete nunca nos deixar órfãos. Na separação, Ele é nosso consolo mais íntimo.
YHWH [is] near to the broken of heart, || And He saves the bruised of spirit.
Also—when I walk in a valley of death-shade, || I fear no evil, for You [are] with me, || Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.
Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, || And is binding up their griefs.
I will not leave you bereaved, I come to you;
When my father and my mother || Have forsaken me, then YHWH gathers me.
Esperança e conforto
A separação não é o fim. Deus transforma a dor em esperança, e o sofrimento presente produz uma glória eterna que supera toda aflição.
And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, that you may not sorrow, as also the rest who have no hope,
For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us;
who is comforting us in all our tribulation, for our being able to comfort those in any tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;
for you have need of patience, that having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
so that the proof of your faith—much more precious than gold that is perishing, and being approved through fire—may be found to [result in] praise, and honor, and glory, at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Amor que persevera
O amor verdadeiro é mais forte que a separação. A fé nos sustenta e nos dá a certeza de que o reencontro virá.
Many waters are not able to quench the love, || And floods do not wash it away. If one gives all the wealth of his house for love, || Treading down—they tread on it.
Mizpah also, for he said, "YHWH watches between me and you, for we are hidden from one another;
I prayed for this youth, and YHWH gives to me my petition which I asked of Him; and I also have called him to YHWH, all the days that he has lived—he is called to YHWH"; and he bows himself there before YHWH.
But what things were gains to me, these I have counted loss, because of the Christ; yes, indeed, and I count all things to be loss, because of the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because of whom I suffered loss of all things, and count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ, and be found in Him,
