Sonhos aparecem em toda a Bíblia como meio de revelação divina. Deus falou através de sonhos a patriarcas, profetas e servos, mas também alertou contra falsos sonhadores.

Deus usou sonhos para comunicar sua vontade a homens e mulheres ao longo da história bíblica, revelando caminhos e mistérios.
And He said, Hear now My words. If there be prophets with you, I the Lord will reveal Myself (to them) in visions, in dreams will I speak with them.

De José no Egito a José pai de Jesus, Deus guiou a história da salvação através de sonhos, protegendo e dirigindo seu povo.
And they said to him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said to them, Are not interpretations from before the Lord? Relate it now to me.
And Pharoh said to Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one to interpret it. And I have heard of thee, saying, that thou hearest a dream, and dost interpret it. And Joseph answered Pharoh, saying, Not from my wisdom, but from before the Lord, will there be an answer of peace unto Pharoh.
Sabedoria sobre sonhos
A Bíblia ensina discernimento: nem todo sonho vem de Deus. Devemos entregar nossos planos ao Senhor e confiar na direção dele.
Every word I command you, that shall you observe to perform; you shall not add to it nor diminish from it.
If there shall arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder cometh to pass, (yet,) should he speak with thee, saying, Let us go after the gods of the Gentiles whom thou hast not known, and let us worship them; Thou shalt not hearken to the words of that prophet or dreamer of dreams; for the Lord your God is proving you, to know whether you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
