Temer ao Senhor é obedecer seus mandamentos, andar em seus caminhos e amá-lo de todo coração. Essa reverência se expressa em justiça e integridade.

Then don’t say cruel things
and don’t tell lies.
Do good instead of evil
and try to live at peace.
So do your work in honor of him and know that he won’t allow you to be unfair to anyone or to take bribes.
I am the Lord your God, and I command you not to make fun of the deaf or to cause a blind person to stumble.

If any of your people become poor and unable to support themselves, you must help them, just as you are supposed to help foreigners who live among you. Don’t take advantage of them by charging any kind of interest or selling them food for profit. Instead, honor me by letting them stay where they now live.
My friends, don’t be afraid of people. They can kill you, but after that, there is nothing else they can do. God is the one you must fear. Not only can he take your life, but he can throw you into hell. God is certainly the one you should fear!
