O temor dos homens é uma armadilha que paralisa a fé. A Bíblia nos convida a trocar o medo humano pela confiança em Deus, que é nosso refúgio e escudo.
Não temas os homens
Deus é a nossa luz e salvação — de quem teremos medo? A Escritura nos encoraja a não temer aqueles que podem destruir o corpo, mas não a alma.
The Lord is my light and my salvation! How could anyone scare me? The Lord is my life’s fortress! How could anyone terrify me?
When evil people come at me to tear me apart, it’s my enemies, those who are against me, they’re the ones who trip and fall.

Don’t be afraid of those who can kill you physically, but can’t kill you spiritually. Instead, be afraid of the one who can destroy you physically and spiritually in Gehenna.

Quando tememos a Deus, o medo dos homens perde o poder. O Senhor está conosco, e se Ele é por nós, quem será contra nós?

Son of man, don’t be afraid of them or what they say. You don’t need to be afraid even though you’re surrounded by brambles and thorns, even though you live among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of what they say or be discouraged by the way they look at you, even though they are a rebellious family.
