1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, my enemies and my foes, came on me to eat my flesh, they stumbled and fell.3 Though an army should camp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I am trusting.

28 And do not fear those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

4 And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.5 But I will warn you of whom you shall fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear Him.

3 When I am afraid I will trust in You.4 In God I will praise His word; in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.

6 The LORD [is] for me, I will not fear; what can man do to me?

6 so that we may boldly say, The] Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.

6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them, and of their words, though briers and thorns [are] with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words, nor frightened by their faces, though they [are] a rebellious house.
