1 A Psalm of David.
2 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?3 When evildoers assail me, uttering slanders against me, my adversaries and foes, they shall stumble and fall.
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
4 "I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear him!
3 my enemies trample upon me all day long, for many fight against me proudly.4 When I am afraid, I put my trust in thee.
6 With the LORD on my side I do not fear. What can man do to me?
6 Hence we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?"
22 You shall not fear them; for it is the LORD your God who fights for you.'
6 And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you sit upon scorpions; be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.
