Temor dos homens
O temor dos homens é uma armadilha que paralisa a fé. A Bíblia nos convida a trocar o medo humano pela confiança em Deus, que é nosso refúgio e escudo.
Não temas os homens
Deus é a nossa luz e salvação — de quem teremos medo? A Escritura nos encoraja a não temer aqueles que podem destruir o corpo, mas não a alma.
28 And be not afraid of them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather be afraid of him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
4 But I say to you, my friends; Fear not them that kill the body, and after that can do no more:5 But I will shew you whom ye shall fear: fear him, who after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say to you, fear him.
Confiança em Deus acima do medo
Quando tememos a Deus, o medo dos homens perde o poder. O Senhor está conosco, e se Ele é por nós, quem será contra nós?
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do unto me.
